Meeting Notice

We are excited to announce that Babywearing International of the Bay Area is becoming Bay Area Babywearing, Inc!

We are calling a special membership meeting on Monday, September 3rd at 8:00 pm for the purpose of amending our Articles of Incorporation, which we are required to do because of the dissolution of Babywearing International, Inc.

This meeting is for the purpose of approving the Second Amended and Restated Articles of Incorporation of Babywearing International of the Bay Area, Inc. as proposed by the Board. The purpose of this amendment is to change the name of the organization to Bay Area Babywearing, Inc. and reflect the termination of our affiliation with Babywearing International, Inc.

The meeting will be held on the Babywearing International of the Bay Area Facebook Page LIVE on Monday September 3rd at 8:00 pm.

The voting link will be provided through email and on the Facebook Page after the LIVE meeting. Voting will be open from the meeting, until 12:00 Midnight on September the 3rd.

IN ORDER TO APPROVE THE ARTICLES, THE VOTE OF MEMBERS ATTENDING MUST BE UNANIMOUS. IF THERE ARE ANY MEMBERS DISSENTING WE MUST START THE WHOLE PROCESS OVER AGAIN.

If you have any comments or concerns about this change, please contact one of the Board Members BEFORE the Live Meeting on September the 3rd to allow us time to address the concern before the meeting. Thank you!
