Join us at the 2017 Annual Baywide Summer Potluck!
Get ready for the annual BWI-BA Baywide summer family potluck and annual meeting! Join babywearers from all over the Bay Area at the Alden E.Oliver Sports Park in Hayward on Sunday, August 20, 2017. We will have all 11 meeting libraries available full of carriers for you to try, as well as a plethora of VBE’s and CSV's on hand to help you with your babywearing needs.
We have reserved the picnic area adjacent to the playground, which has picnic tables and a grassy area for blankets. There is no shade, so bring an umbrella or sun shelter if you have one and don't forget your hats and sunscreen!
Please RSVP and let us know what you will be bringing for the potluck. You can check the list to see what others are bringing as well. As a reminder, please do not bring items containing nuts for those with allergies. We also request that you also bring your own reusable plates, utensils, and cups, and napkins for eco-friendliness.
This event will also include our annual membership meeting, and annual Board of Directors meeting. This is a great opportunity to talk to BWI-BA's leadership about your ideas and opinions, what it takes to become a VBE, and any other administrative/management topics you'd like to discuss. If you are a dues-paying BWI member, you can vote on the election of next year's Board of Directors. We will announce the slate before the event.
